I am Giny, currently based in Kent, UK, but originally from Hong Kong. I am a skilled visual designer and illustrator, specializing in branding, digital design, and illustration. In my free time, I find inspiration in nature through activities like hiking. It allows me to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city and appreciate the beauty of the natural world.

 

After studying art at school and pursuing a degree in applied and media art at Polytechnic University in Hong Kong, I began my career in a pharmaceutical agency, a digital design agency and a branding agency, where I honed my skills in both print and digital design. Following that, I worked in two corporate companies, gaining valuable experience in collaborating with different departments to achieve brand goals. In one of the agencies where I was promoted as an art director, I also learned how to lead a design team, ensuring the quality of our work, managing timelines and costs, and effectively communicating with various stakeholders.

 

Having acquired these skills, I decided to dedicate more time to my passion for gouache painting. I discovered immense joy and tranquility in immersing myself in painting flowers and plants. I aim to incorporate the beauty of nature into my design style, providing a sense of solace to clients amidst their busy urban lives. Through my designs and artwork, I hope to bring a sense of healing and serenity to others.
